This winter season was packed with memorable moments as several GVHS teams excelled in their respective sports, bringing home medals and championships.
The swim team are going to the District One Swimming Championship in York, PA. Additionally, members of the team took part in the Central League Championship Meets at Ridley High School, showing their dedication and skill in the pool.
This year also saw the debut of the girls' wrestling team, who did great in their first season. Their impressive performances set the stage for a bright future in this newly established program.
The GVHS cheer team won their 4th consecutive PIAA District I Championship. This remarkable achievement highlights the hard work and dedication of the cheerleaders, who continue to raise the bar year after year.
Meanwhile, both the boys and girls basketball teams are gearing up for the PIAA District I Playoffs, where they will continue to showcase their hard work and determination on the court
Lastly, the indoor track team had a standout season, bringing home several medals in various events, showing that GVHS is a powerhouse in track and field as well.
With spring sports just around the corner, the excitement will continue as new teams and athletes prepare to take the field, court, and track for another great GVHS season!
