Summer is not the time for our GV Jags to slip up on exercise and activity! Whether going outside or heading to the gym, it's important for students to not only stay in shape but get a mental break as well. That's why Planet Fitness may be just for you! Take advantage of the annual High School Summer Pass program, which invites high school teens ages 14 – 19 to work out for FREE at any of its more than 2,700+ Planet Fitness locations from now through August 31.
Getting started is easy:
- Head to PlanetFitness.com/SummerPass
- Select your preferred location
- Complete a quick registration form
- Download the Planet Fitness app to access your digital pass via QR code
Prioritize your mental and physical wellness goals, especially as school sports are put on pause. Also be sure to share this opportunity with other students and maybe even get a friend to tag along with you to the gym!

- Make a Plan
There are a wide variety of exercises you can do including strength training, cardio training, flexibility & mobility work, functional training, and more! Plan how you want to exercise before you come to the gym so you're ready to hit the floor running. Take a look at the Planet Fitness App which includes workout videos as well as exercise and equipment tutorials.
- Exercise Safely
Learn proper form and be sure to warm up and cool down to avoid injury. Check out credible YouTube videos or Planet Fitness' own app tutorials to know how to train.
- Have Fun!
I have to include this point because it's important to not be discouraged. Be consistent and create a sustainable habit rather than starting off extreme.
