Don’t miss out on the GVHS Orchestra Concert this Thursday, January 8th, starting at 6:30pm! Come a little earlier and park by GVHS so you can buy some snacks and/or participate in our raffle basket drawing taking place by the auditorium. The raffle basket winner will be at the end of the concert!
You, and any friends or family, will have the pleasure of listening to wonderful, live music that our GVHS students have been working tirelessly on including:
Fantasia on Greensleeves – by Ralph Vaughan Williams
Marche Slav – by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikowsky
Wood Splitter Fanfare – by Brian Balmages
Adagio for Strings – by Samuel Barber
Scheherazade – by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
Afterwards, whether celebrating our Orchestra members or simply spending time with friends and family, be sure to visit and get yourself a frozen yogurt treat at SweetFrog!

Mention GVHS Orchestra at the checkout and part of the proceeds will be donated to support some of the Orchestra’s activities, such as field trips and funding visits from musicians to teach students new techniques! This fundraiser will take place after the concert until the store’s closing at 9:30pm.
We’ve been working hard all year and can’t wait to see you!
