Have you ever wanted to try out percussive music or the performing arts?

You can join the GV Drumline or Color Guard today without any prior experience!

Indoor Drumline is a competitive program that runs from November to May. It’s similar to marching band, but only battery instruments (snare drums, bass drums, tenors, and crash cymbals) and front ensemble instruments (marimbas, xylophones, guitar, etc.) perform. GV Drumline competes against other lines in the area. At the end of the season, they go to Wildwood, NJ to perform their show.

The first open practice to check everything out is Wednesday, November 5th, 6-9pm in the GVHS Band Room.

Wednesday, November 12th, 6-9pm in the GVHS Band Room is the next open practice. This one will be most similar to an audition.

Do you enjoy dance, gymnastics, or simply want to have an activity that keeps you moving?  The GV Color Guard is a competitive performance group that runs from December to May. Members perform choreographed routines using props like flags, rifles, and sabres to music. Open practices begin this December.
