What is Football All About at GVHS?
Our team cares about teamwork, discipline, pride, and of course touchdowns! You can join as a new player or someone with years of experience, all are welcome. You will build strength, confidence, and lifelong friendships.
What Does the Team Offer?
At practices, coaches focus on building strong fundamentals like tackling, passing, and strategy while encouraging every player to push their limits. With both JV and Varsity opportunities, players of all experience levels can find their spot. Plus, you’ll represent your school under the Friday night lights — one of the best feelings out there.
Even off the field, the team fosters a tight-knit community with team dinners, bonding events, and volunteer opportunities throughout the season. They have accumulated a total of over 1600 volunteer hours last season and are heading towards the same spot for this season.
