On December 2nd, during the final period of the school day, the GV Girl's Volleyball team played an exhibition match in front of student and teacher viewers. The players were split into two teams, White and Garnet, and faced off against their own teammates. Teachers elected to bring their classes to watch the game, filling the stands. A small portion of the GVHS Marching Band was performing as well! Emily Dahdaly sang the National Anthem to kickstart the match. Throughout the game, the score remained extremely close between the two teams. The White team won the first set. The second set was cut short as time ran out, but the Garnet team finished with a higher score. Since both teams won a set, the match essentially ended in a tie. Congratulations to our Girl's Volleyball team!
