On Thursday the 2nd, I attended a freshman float build. Our theme this year is “We are making magic." It is a beautiful theme with an even more impressive execution. While I was there, I saw people hard at work, some were building, some were painting, and others were working on the dance. It was amazing to see everyone work together as a team to accomplish a common goal. The painted details on the float was nothing short of fantastic; I would have thought I was in the Magic Kingdom! The dancing is elegant and fun, with the perfect mix of sharp movements and energizing steps. Everyone's hard work has most definitely paid off. I was so impressed by what this group accomplished in only a couple float builds. Check out the Class of 2029 coming in with a boom this year at the homecoming parade!
