As winter break approaches, we encourage students, teachers, families, and friends to come to the Holiday Hoops Tournament, taking place December 27th and 28th! If you’re a die-hard basketball fan or just looking for a fun way to spend your time over the holidays, this is for you!
Our GVSD girls and boys basketball teams will face matchups at this tournament and they’ll need your support! Moreover, this is a great chance to support the Varsity Club, the student organization behind many of the athletic initiatives that strengthen our school spirit and “oneness.” During the tournament, Varsity Club members will be providing tickets and also walking around with cans to collect donations. These monetary donations help fund next year’s projects, events, and service activities that benefit athletes across the district.
Your participation directly supports our district’s athletic programs aimed to support student-athletes, while you get to enjoy a great game! So mark your calendars right now to not miss any of the following games:
- Sat 12/27: Girls Game (GVHS) @ 1-3pm
- Sat 12/27: Boys Game (GVHS) @ 5-7pm
- Sun 12/28: Girls Game (GVHS) @ 1pm and 5pm
- Sun 12/28: Boys Game (GVHS) @ 3pm and 7pm
