A round of applause goes to our K-12 art departments for their incredible work. For the fifth consecutive year the Garnet Valley district has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Art Education Association (PAEA) as an Outstanding Visual Arts Community.
Our schools have upheld the three pillars of the OVAC endorsement—rigorous and inclusive programs, highly accessible opportunities, and highly visible arts initiatives—to show how essential the arts are to a strong, well-rounded education. From elementary through high school, our art teachers have dedicated their time to foster curiosity, expression, and critical thinking. On behalf of the students and staff, we truly thank them for their creativity, passion, and commitment to ensure that every student has access to high-quality visual arts education.
As our art educators provide their heart and vision, let's hope students continue to take full advantage of the opportunities our district offers. Thanks to all faculty and staff, our GV cutlure is one where art can truly thrive!
