Our freshman team this year, coached by Coach Simpkins, ended with a 7-1 record while going undefeated in the Central League. Our only loss was to Cardinal O-Hara in week one. However, thanks to our elite coaching, we bounced back and won 7 straight games. Despite having over 15 people miss at least one game due to injury,  we still managed to get two back to back 50+ point games and 3 shut-outs which were against Radnor, Academy Park and our biggest rival, Ridley. Overall we scored 240 points and we had only 66 total points scored on us (nearly a 4:1 ratio).

Through lows of running hills after our mistakes and the highs of beating Radnor 52-0 away, everyone learned how to balance fun and seriousness of practice and game day. Every single day taught us discipline through excellent coaching and not moving on until we get it right. The whole season has helped us learn that hard work prevails and with hard work anything is achievable.
